Event Details

Blind Drawing (The Ridge)

Event Description: Divide people into group of 5 or six people. • Invite one person to be the speaker at a time and tell them an object/shape to describe (different objects for each group). • They then describe the object while the other people in the group must draw the object from the description alone. • The rule is that the person describing the object cannot say anything which clearly gives away what the object is or is closely related. For example, if describing a tree, you might say, “It’s a tall cylinder with lightning coming out of each end, one set of lightning spreading out into the air, the other going into the ground. It has rough, weathered skin, and at the ends of each fork of lightning there are hundreds of children that grow until they’re ready to fall.” • Give three to five minutes for each word. • Other people in the group take turns in describing another word. • After each word everyone in each group shows their drawing and the group decides who’s if any were closest to the originals first stage.
